Hi there! My name is Dave Newman, and I’m the founder and owner of YES Homes.

I passionately believe all of us are better off as owners than renters. After all, isn’t that the true American Dream? Mortgage payments are always better and usually less expensive than rent payments. And neighborhoods filled with owners are better than neighborhoods filled with renters. I want to bring that special pride to every neighborhood

I’ve purchased over 300 houses in the last 10 years. I’m heavily involved in all aspects of real estate investing. I flip houses and rent homes all over the country!

And of course, our favorite method, which is working with credit challenged buyers in our lease option program.

When I’m not hunched over a keyboard, or looking for the next deal, you can usually find me on a ski slope, or on a golf course, or at the gym. Unless the Broncos or Jayhawks are playing, then I am glued to the TV and cheering like a knucklehead!

Speaking of my Jayhawks, I graduated from The University of Kansas with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. After college I worked as a TV sports anchor at the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs. In 2002 I decided to quit the TV business and started a group health insurance company. But I realized in 2008 that real estate investing is my true passion and now I get to combine that with giving well deserving people the second chance they need.
